    Description

    Drop test for easy determination of pH value in fresh and sea water.
    4 drops of reagent are sufficient per test.

    What is pH?
     pH, or hydrogen potential, represents the concentration of hydrogen ions in water. pH ranges from 0 to 14:
    • Water is acidic if the pH is between 0 and 6,
    • Water is basic if the pH is between 8 and 14,
    • Around 7, the pH is neutral.

    The water in a community aquarium should have a neutral pH, but depending on the fish kept the pH may need to be more acidic or basic.

    When the pH is too low, we recommend SERA KH/pH + (in freshwater and saltwater aquariums) and, when it is too high in freshwater aquariums, SERA pH/KH - or filtration through SERA super peat.
