What does it measure?
• Conductivity (EC): The ability of water to conduct electricity, indicating the presence of dissolved ions (salts, minerals). Measured in microsiemens per centimeter (µS/cm).
• Total Dissolved Solids (TDS): The total amount of substances dissolved in water, expressed in parts per million (ppm).

Advice from our specialist!
The instrument should be recalibrated under the following conditions: after a long period of inactivity or after a long period of time since the last calibration, following frequent use or when high measurement accuracy is required. If the electrode is exposed to air for a long time, it will dry out and the reading of the values will therefore be slow and unstable. Simply immersing the electrode in osmotic water for a few hours will solve the problem.
