HANNA INSTRUMENTS HI747-25 Reagents for HI747 Mini Photometer Copper

The HI74725 is the replacement reagent for the HI747 Checker ® HC Copper Photometer.

Colorimetry of reagent HI747-25:
These reagents follow the Bicinchoninate method in which the reaction between copper and the reagent causes a purple tint in the sample. By simply adding the HI747-25 reagent pack to the sample, the reaction will take place and the HI747 will determine the concentration from the color that is produced. The results will be displayed in ppb of copper.
These reagents are designed for use with samples with an expected range of 0 to 999 ppb.

To optimize the longevity of the electrodes, there are 3 rules to follow :
• Rinsing: Rinse with tap water after each measurement.
• Storage: Store the electrode upright and always put a few drops of storage solution in the protective cap.
• Calibration: Use the intended calibration solution and adjust the measuring device according to its instructions.
