HANNA INSTRUMENTS HI736-25 Reagents for HI736 Mini Photometer Phosphorus

The HI736-25 is the replacement reagent for the HI736 Checker ® HC Phosphorus Photometer.

Colorimetry of reagent HI736-25:
These reagents follow the ascorbic acid method in which the reaction between phosphorus and the reagents causes a blue tint in the sample.
By simply adding the HI736-25 reagent pack to the sample, the reaction will take place and the HI736 will determine the concentration from the color produced.
Results will be displayed in ppb of phosphorus. These reagents are designed for use with samples with an expected range of 0 to 200 ppb of phosphorus.

To optimize the longevity of the electrodes, there are 3 rules to follow :
• Rinsing: Rinse with tap water after each measurement.
• Storage: Store the electrode upright and always put a few drops of storage solution in the protective cap.
• Calibration: Use the intended calibration solution and adjust the measuring device according to its instructions.
