HANNA HI775-26 Photometer Reagent Alkalinity - Fresh Water

HI775-26 reagents are the replacement reagents for the HI775 Mini Freshwater Alkalinity Checker® HC Photometer.
These high-quality reagents are manufactured in Hanna Instruments' state-of-the-art facility. They are clearly marked with the lot number and expiration date on each package for better traceability.

These reagents follow the colorimetric method in which the reaction causes the development of a distinctive range of colors from yellow to green to blue.
By simply adding a drop of the chlorine remover to eliminate chlorine interference, then adding 1 ml of the alkalinity reagent to the sample, the reaction will take place and the HI775 will determine the concentration from the color produced.
Results will be displayed in ppm of CaCO3.
These reagents are designed for use with samples with an expected range of 0 to 500 ppm CaCO3.

The lifespan of an electrode varies depending on its use and maintenance.

To optimize the longevity of the electrodes, there are 3 rules to follow:
- Rinsing: Rinse with tap water after each measurement.
- Storage: Store the electrode upright and always put a few drops of preservation solution in the protective cap.
- Calibration: Use the provided calibration solution and adjust the measuring device according to its instructions.
