Description
DISCUSFOOD Zeolite is a high quality bacterial carrier.
Zeolite improves water quality and limits algae growth by binding large amounts of organic nitrogen compounds.
Aquarium zeolite is a water purification product. It is capable of absorbing certain nitrogenous wastes that are toxic to the aquarium. Zeolite primarily absorbs ammonia.
This natural product breaks down ammonium and thus inhibits the increase in nitrates.
It is suitable for both marine and freshwater aquariums.
Composition of DISCUSFOOD Zeolite - 1 liter :
100% zeolite (99.6% clinoptilolites).
Directions for use of DISCUSFOOD Zeolite - 1 liter :
Depending on water quality, the zeolite should be changed every 6 to 8 weeks.
