OPTIMA Activated Carbon

OPTIMA's activated carbon provides healthy filtered aquarium water.
It is available in 800ml, 2 and 10 litre packaging (on order).
For your information, 1 liter of Optima carbon cleans and purifies a 100-liter freshwater or seawater aquarium for approximately 3 months.

The OPTIMA filter media is made from charcoal to which 25 different types of resins (which retain harmful substances) and various highly effective filtering substances have been added.

An automated selective mixture allows this filter mass to absorb, bind and retain the following harmful products:
• Chlorine and other oxidants
• Uric acid and metabolic products
• Albumin and proteolysis products such as nitrites, nitrates, ammonium and ammonia
• Pesticides and insecticides

OPTIMA Activated Carbon variants:
• FK8: 800 ml of OPTIMA carbon to purify a 150 L aquarium for approximately 3 months.
• FK20: 2 liters of OPTIMA carbon to purify a 200 L aquarium for approximately 3 months.
• FK Jumbo: 10 liters of OPTIMA carbon to purify a 1000 L aquarium for approximately 3 months.
