100 GPD Reverse Osmosis Membrane

The replacement membrane (vacuum) for AQUAVIE KBO 100 reverse osmosis system will fit any other 100 GPD reverse osmosis system.

Its action allows to remove elements harmful to the aquarium water, such as heavy metals, certain bacteria, mineral salts and to produce approximately 380 liters of osmosis water per day.

This membrane is composed of 7 spirally wound layers, in order to provide high purity to the water with filtration from 5 to 0.0001 microns.
Apart from the various cartridges that need to be changed annually, the membrane (the heart of the reverse osmosis system) must be replaced when its efficiency deteriorates (generally after 2 to 5 years), but it is preferable to check that it is working properly regularly using a TDS meter, also known as a conductivity meter.
