Description
The HI98107 pHep is an easy-to-use pH water tester that makes monitoring water quality simple.
This accurate pH tester from Hanna Instruments features 0.1 resolution with two-point automatic calibration and temperature compensation in a single, portable, handheld device.
 The HI98107 features a large multi-level LCD that displays both pH and temperature values simultaneously.
pH values are displayed with a pH resolution of 0.1 and an accuracy of -0.1 pH.
The pH reading range of the HI98107 is 0.0 to 14.0 pH.
An exposed temperature sensor allows for fast, automatic, temperature-compensated pH measurements.
The temperature can be set to be displayed in C or zF.
The LCD display is equipped with stability and calibration indicators. The battery percentage level is displayed at startup, alerting the user of the remaining battery power available.

The pH electrode uses a unique reference cell design that utilizes a fabric junction that provides a larger surface area than a standard ceramic junction.

Calibration is performed by pressing the dedicated calibration button. Once in calibration mode, the pH electrode can be calibrated at 1 or 2 points using the pre-programmed standard buffers (pH 4.01, 7.01, 10.01). When the standard value is recognized and stability is achieved, the meter automatically accepts and stores the calibration value.

Setup options include automatic shutoff and temperature unit display. Auto-shutoff options include removing the pH meter from the water after 8 minutes, 60 minutes, or off. To enter setup mode, the user presses a button located in the battery compartment.

This ergonomic tester is equipped with a large display for easy reading and a renewable junction electrode that significantly optimizes the tester's longevity.

It is advisable to calibrate any electronic tester with the recommended solutions upon commissioning and regularly in order to preserve the electrodes.
